Ok, It was really hard for me to make this choice, cause there was a lot of interesting stuff that I could do, but eventually my considerations left me with these 6 specific subjects.
- communication design
- digital photography
- movie editing & directing
- screenplay
- 3D modeling
- digital drawing

no way around
Today I took the subway to the Faculdade de Lettras to subscribe for a portuguese language course. Cause there really is no way around, i need to learn the language, and I need to learn it fast. It was my first time taking the subway all by myself, but I managed to do fine if I say so myself. It's actually a lot easier then in Belgium, you just have 4 lines, the blue, the yellow, the red and the green, and with those few lines you can go to every single part of lisbon, pretty easy no? Besides that it's basically just watching the days go by, enjoying the heat in this captivating city and of course preparing for school to begin shortly.

trip to sé
Here are some pictures of our trip to the sé cathedral a few days ago, not much, maybe that's why i totally forgot about these! The cloister hallway of the cathedral had nine gothic chapels absolutely bulging with art. like for example the birth of christ by Machado de Castro, an amazing scene made of wood, cork and terracotta.

being a tourist
Yesterday we went to the second mirador in Graça, it's more touristic then the one i'm staying at but it also has a wonderful panorama filled with colorful roofs and skyscrapers. Behind the mirador lies a lovely white church, the igreja de graça. Later on we went to the castelo de sao jorge, wich was rebuilt in the 20th century by Salazar after being destroyed during the earthquake of 1755. It's surrounded by small streets full of souvenir-shops and bars. So enough about yesterday, today we took the electric to Rossio, where we visited some traditional street-sheds before we carried on our journey to Belem. As soon as we arrived there we visited the mosteiro dos Jeronimos, the world-famous pasteis de belem-shop (very delicious cakes!) and the amazing, but sadly closed, torre de belem. This beautifully decorated fort was built in the middle of the Taag in the early 16th century. But cut the history crap, just look at them damn pictures.
