then my foreign ass

Here's a quick update: Everything is flowing according to schedule, but the works keep on coming so it's far from over. I did finished a few drawings for the alibaba fairytale for example, and some other stuff, while continuing work on talker and a short stop-motion movie. I also received the news that i can't extend my period of studies till june here in belas artes, so that basically means i have to return in march, bummer! So there's only one month left to enjoy the country, then my foreign ass is moving back to belgium.







this was the graphic direction i first wanted to go, but i didn't really felt like continuing this way. So it moved straight to the trashcan, where it belongs!

while working on

These are 2 photo-montages i made for the course fotografia digital. The subject of both works matters the idea of trying to escape something for a while, but in the back of your mind knowing you have to return eventually, willingly or not. This week i also finished a soundscape for the imagem e som-class (sound-editing) while working on illustrations for a fairytale (alibaba & the 40 mustached thieves) and a small stop-motion movie. I also reserved a video-camera for next week, so I can finally start shooting the 'talker'-short.

desperately need to

First things first, a joyfull 2008 to all! Although mine started kind of dull, being sick for almost a week now. You wont hear a lot from me this first month of the new year, cause it's time to retreat in isolation to complete the list of works that desperately need to be wrapped up. If I post anything at all, it would mean something's finished and that would be great news! So wish me good luck, I might need it.
