nature's future

For the 'comunication design' class I had to make a flip 'n fold folder/poster about a social organisation of choice. my choice was WWF (World Wide Fund for Nature), and in particular their 'save the rainforest' campaign. The tropical rainforest is filled with many different species. It has been worked out, that almost 2/3 of all the worlds wildlife lives in the rainforest. But at the same time, it is one of the most endangered of the worlds natural resorts. A conservative estimation is, that an area twice the size of Belgium is cut down every year. WWF works to save the habitat for many of the rain- forests endangered animals. Their work among other things is to hinder the illegal export of tropical trees. They also teach the locals how to use the rainforest without destroying it. On the left side you see the back of the folder: the so-called poster, on the right you have the unfolded folder.
