occasional state of solitude

Bom Dia! I know t's been a long while since I last posted something, but the last few weeks were a bit hectic. Lots of stuff needed to be finished, and many concepts needed to be produced. Besides that, december was also a month full of lovely christmas dinners & parties. For now the school took a break for the very welcome holidays cause i was starting to run out of air. But hey, no complaints here, i'm still having the time of my life. I just need a while to reload my batteries and get back on shedule; finish some photography stuff i promised a friend (disculpa Jonatan) and work on some major projects that need to be finished near the end of january. But that doesn't mean i'm gonna live like a monk in a cloister all the time, cause christmas & new year calls (or is just an excuse) for celebration, no? Besides, an occasional state of solitude doesn't bug me at all, it really helps me clear my thoughts in search of fresh ideas. And that definitely comes in handy since i'm still working on my new shortfilm 'talker', a small animation movie called 'excuse me do you know who...euhm', a graphic campaign for 'always' and many other projects that demand my attention the next couple of weeks.

This week my parents came to visit and they brought some typical belgian rain clouds with them, so 'thanks' for that. No, it's nice to see some familiar faces around here, and they seem to enjoy themselves just fine. Yesterday i went to visit them in there hotel (hotel Eden in Rossio), wich is really, really nice. The coridors on all the (9?!) floors are filled with big windows, each unfolding an amazing cityscape and the walls are decorated with old vintage filmposters showing movie- legends such as marilyn Monroe, Marlin Brando, Clint Eastwood, Burt Lancaster, James Dean,... so i clearly couldn't resist taking some pictures. All the other pictures (up and down) are like usual, as diverse as the country itself.
