autumn's arriving

The start of school coincides with the autumn arriving in Portugal, the temperature remains more or less the same but it's starting to rain a lot lately. Nevertheless, the weather didn't stop me from attending my first classes in the Faculdade de Belas-Artes da Universidade de Lisboa! The opening days were a bit awkward. During most of the classes (in Portuguese) I just had to wait till they where finished, so the teacher could repeat his instructions in English. But I don't mind, you can't possibly expect them to adept to the terms of one humble erasmus-student. On the second day I met many kindred spirits; Brazilian, Hungarian, Spanish, Australian, Italian, Dutch, Israelian and a lot of German erasmus students, so that was a huge relief and a big help cause some of them spoke a fair amount of Portuguese! Besides that, the school's organisation is'nt going as planned for now, lots of classes are being cancelled and stuff like that. But they promised it will all be ok during next week. I don't want to sound to excited cause there's still a long road ahead. But if you don't know where you're going, any road will take you there.
