never regret what makes you smile...

olá! Here are some pictures from last week, packed with lots of stencils again this time, but also the usual 'street life snapshots'. I guess I don't have real news to tell you, everything's going well and I'm enjoying every second of this wonderful 'erashmush' experience. Especially the variety between mingling with the Portuguese and having fun with some erasmus friends is pleasant. You learn interesting stuff about many different cultures and traditions this way, mostly the portuguese of course. I really love the way of living in Lisbon, so i started wondering what the actual difference is between Belgium and Portugal. And besides the weather (still hot!), the endless stairs and the breathtaking views the biggest difference, and what I like the most, are the smiling faces. Nearly every single person here greets you with a genuine smile! Maybe the sun evokes it in a way, I don't know, but it's undoubtedly significant to the country, and it made me turn my belgian frown into a joyfull smile! I once read the words 'never regret what makes you smile', well I'm never gonna regret this, that's for sure...
