This is the excuse that we're making..

Yesterday night 2 many dj's played in Lux, one of Lisbon's biggest nightclubs. My fellow Belgians blew us away with a DJ set that knew no musical boundaries or genres and one which was lapped up by everybody present. From simian mobile disco's club banger 'it's the beat' to blur's 'song 2' and pretty much everything in-between, these two brothers from ghent certainly know how to rock one hell of a party. Dance and indie crowds united, cross-over tracks from tiga, the Chemical Brothers and the Prodigy went down a treat, despite the duo not playing their cut and paste musical collage style that we’ve become accustomed to hearing from the albums and their previous gigs. After an exhausting night we drove back home around 8 o'clock in the morning. While cruising the streets of Lisbon dEUS's '7days, 7 weeks' echoed through the radio. Half awake, half asleep I reached a mellow state of mind.
